About Kling Watermark Remover

Kling Watermark Remover is a free tool that removes watermarks from videos inside your web browser. It finds the watermark automatically, measures its colour and transparency across many frames, and reverses it to recover the picture underneath. Your video is never uploaded: all processing happens on your own device.

Why it exists

Most online video tools ask you to upload your file to their servers. For a job as simple as cleaning up a corner of your own video, that’s an unnecessary privacy trade-off. Modern browsers can now decode, edit and re-encode video themselves, so this tool does everything locally, with no account and no upload.

How it’s built

• Video is decoded and encoded by your browser’s built-in WebCodecs engine, in a background worker so the page stays responsive.
• MP4, MOV and WebM files are read and written with Mediabunny, an open-source JavaScript media library.
• Frames are edited in the video’s own colour format, so pixels outside the watermark pass through unchanged.
• The site is a static Next.js application. There is no backend, no database and no upload endpoint.

How we test it

Every change to the removal method is measured on test videos where we also have the clean original, and only changes that measurably improve the result ship. Our test results publish the numbers, including the approaches that didn’t work.
